Telling Your Story

Loving these ...

Mod Birth Story Print with Monogram (8x10 inch)
Mod Love Story Print (Color)- Anniversary Gift (8x10 inch)

Check out her shop on Etsy here -- ModMemento. They look great in a frame!

I can think of so many things you can do with this concept ..

*One for the best girlfriend to capture all your inside jokes and moments
*One for the family that is moving away to capture all your favorite memories while living here
*One for the grandma to capture all of the things her grandchildren love about her

Such a personal way to tell a story and celebrate a relationship!

Crazy Leprechauns

Our house was invaded by leprechauns on St. Patrick's Day! The girls woke up to little green footprints all over the counters and tile floors. I used this great soy based paint .. it literally wiped right off with a little squirt of cleaner and a paper towel. I went to the stamping section at Hobby Lobby and bought the footprints stamp. Pretty sure it was meant for all things newborn baby .. but it made a great leprechaun footprint!

Just for giggles .. I added whipped cream and green sprinkles to all the sinks!

Recycled Crayons

I have always thrown out the nasty broken crayons .. until I saw this little trick!!

You can see the step by step directions here:

I think it is perfect for the nursery/preschool age .. who are less concerned with what the "right" color is .. and who will be most impressed with the new random shapes to color with!

Just Lovely Things

I really love these ...

Love these necklaces:

Love the concept behind them and love the fact that it is for a good cause. As a mom of three girls, I'm always looking for little reminders of the individual potential inside each of them. This is a great way reminder .. to go ahead and let the world see you shine!!

Edible Snowflakes

We had several snow days this year and needed something fun and new to do! Hence ... edible snowflakes!!

It is just like making paper snowflakes, but with tortillas. Once the girls were happy with their "snowflake", we brushed it lightly with butter and sprinkled it with a cinnamon/sugar mixture.

If you like them a little crispier, bake them until they are brown. If you like them a little chewier, bake them for about 7-8 minutes. We sprinkled them with "snow" for a realistic effect!

While they were baking .. my girls found other fun things to do with a tortilla!

Valentines Box

We didn't want to do the standard "shoe box" project for her Valentines Day fun this year! After a little research .. I found this idea. Basically, you start with a box. I used an empty Triscuit box. We removed the top and then covered it with white contact paper. The contact paper helps make it a little more sturdy and also provides a perfect blank canvas for decorating.

The best part is you can really use any size box and you end up with a slightly different and personalized project!

Super Easy Valentines Day Hair

We missed our annual Valentines Day hair party .. so I was left on my own! This heart was super easy. We just did a reverse flip, wrapped it with ribbon and pinned it in place.

It won't be too much longer before she is too cool to do these things, but for now we are going to enjoy it!!
