Want a great couples costume idea ... HAWAIIAN PUNCH!! I found this totally amusing when I first heard it and then even more funny when my friend sent me this picture! :)

Halloween Theme - Wizard of Oz

This was the year the girls saw Wicked for the first time! Lexie's dress was a wedding dress that someone had died pink - go figure! It was so fun!

Halloween Theme - Snow White

The best part of this theme ... A little boy at a party came up and asked Lexie if he could take a photo with her! First time she felt like a character in Disneyland! :)

The worst part of this theme ... Everyone asked Rachel all night if she was Santa!!

This year was so much fun! Poor Lex and that Mrs. Potts costume. She was such a good sport.

Halloween - To Theme Or Not To Theme

I was reading my friend Ashleigh's blog ... this is the first year that her kids did not do a "theme" for Halloween. I have a well-established history of LOVING the theme! I'll share in just a minute! :)

What do you do at your house? Theme or no theme?

Like my friend, I am a little sad that we have been without a theme for the past couple of years now. I might be able to talk the girls into it again if Jeremy and I dressed up in something totally embarassing.

Otherwise ... all I have left to offer is a couple of buckets of costumes to offer to my girlfriends so I can enjoy their themed-filled Halloweens!!

Witches Brew

This was our main project for Halloween ... witches brew!! We used spray foam insulation to fill the cauldron. The girls painted it bright green and decorated it from there. Way cool!

The only thing we could not figure out was that the insulation shifted and grew at random times during the couple of weeks it was on the front porch. No explanation for that one!!
